Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Koby Wright kicked off to start the match. Geovanildo Luis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jax Williamson having to make a save. Ronaldinho Gaucho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jax Williamson made a huge save. Koby Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Canada's Rohan Watson got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jax Williamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanildo Luis went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Drew Zaelani got a free kick in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Dixon came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Richard Mccarthy might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haji Sarap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 37th minute Jan Dixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanildo Luis came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Geovanildo Luis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanildo Luis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jax Williamson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Mccarthy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovanildo Luis was the one to do the kick off. Jan Dixon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Haji Sarap made a huge save. Geovanildo Luis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Dixon in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 82nd minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Joinville City - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Richard Mccarthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Haji Sarap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Adhemar Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
