In the 32nd minute Albano Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Santino Seco hit a great ball. Per-Arne Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 41st minute of the match. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kropotkins pojkar were winning 0-4.

The supporters of Kropotkins pojkar booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. The throw-in from Robin Örtlund in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th minute of the game Robin Örtlund made a throw-in which Tahsin Elçioğlu played forward. 95 minutes into the game, Tahsin Elçioğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Tahsin Elçioğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5.
