After a rather tough play, UYANIŞ BÜYÜK SELÇUKLU's 白杰洲 got a free kick in the 11th minute. Chile were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after UYANIŞ BÜYÜK SELÇUKLU's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. If Cesur Alp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Fikret Sidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play. Cesur Alp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Fikret Sidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UYANIŞ BÜYÜK SELÇUKLU's Ahmet Fikret Sidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battal Cevizci in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, UYANIŞ BÜYÜK SELÇUKLU's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ahmet Fikret Sidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Felix Garrido. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Fikret Sidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ahmet Fikret Sidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfü Gökçek in the 54th minute of the match. Gencer Yaşer kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Chile booed when UYANIŞ BÜYÜK SELÇUKLU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencer Yaşer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süreyya Kutan in the 62nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesur Alp went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ahmet Fikret Sidal in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Fikret Sidal. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邵浩庭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Fikret Sidal. Ahmet Fikret Sidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
