Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. Per-Arne Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Per-Arne Vidman made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Albano Boni notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman. Per-Arne Vidman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Åke Ahlquist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Arne Vidman. Kropotkins pojkar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Mcdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Boni came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Per-Arne Vidman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 45th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Cassius Byrne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tahsin Elçioğlu to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Tahsin Elçioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kropotkins pojkar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahsin Elçioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Per-Arne Vidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. After a rather tough play, Kropotkins pojkar's Robin Örtlund got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Jacob May heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of USA booed when Kropotkins pojkar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Campbell kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ivar Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of USA booed when Kropotkins pojkar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tahsin Elçioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jens-Åke Ahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kropotkins pojkar's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Åke Ahlquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tahsin Elçioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Khalid Parry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Vidman having to interfere. USA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
