In the 8th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Wickander to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Monty Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Monty Rogers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhang Hao Qing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Zhang Hao Qing in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Flavio Cifuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Zhang Hao Qing in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Zhang Hao Qing made a huge save. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenson Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zhang Hao Qing. Zhang Hao Qing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Taltum FC made a substitution. Ralf Albäck replaced Flavio Cifuentes. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 45th minute of play. Urko Vinuesa's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urko Vinuesa helped the player get up and apologised. Urko Vinuesa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Di Le Jun made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 56th minute of the match. Zhang Hao Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mcdonald. 61 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espinosa Marco in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espinosa Marco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
