Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 12 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Admon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Emilio Admon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Atlético Villa Gesell's Emilio Admon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Admon. Atlético Villa Gesell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Atlético Villa Gesell getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Robustiano Viviano hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Admon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Admon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Admon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Admon. Emilio Admon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Silvio Quintun's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Quintun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atlético Villa Gesell's Silvio Quintun got a free kick in the 39th minute. Atlético Villa Gesell's Emilio Admon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Emilio Admon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Leheren during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Natalio Leheren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Emilio Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Andres Raymond made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Admon having to interfere. Emilio Admon came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Quintun in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emilio Admon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Admon made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Admon. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Sanduru in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Emilio Admon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Admon having to interfere. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atlético Villa Gesell's Emilio Admon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Villa Gesell from getting a goal against them. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Emilio Admon made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than Atlético Villa Gesell and deserved their victory. The Atlético Villa Gesell players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
