Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Renato Nunez-Tesheira kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's Renato Nunez-Tesheira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Rafe Vallina got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Haitz Langarica however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Acebal in the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute Renato Nunez-Tesheira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pencho Gramatikov lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th minute, one of Atletico Aragua FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico Aragua FC. Atletico Aragua FC:s Haitz Langarica showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Haitz Langarica made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Rafe Vallina charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafe Vallina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Haitz Langarica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Renato Nunez-Tesheira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Renato Nunez-Tesheira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Renato Nunez-Tesheira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bizi Faubelo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atletico Aragua FC's corner Bizi Faubelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Rafe Vallina's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Haitz Langarica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haitz Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haitz Langarica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haitz Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute of the match. Renato Nunez-Tesheira hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Haitz Langarica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Aragua FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
