Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Ramalho started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Ligeiro F.C booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Adelino Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Adelino Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamílton Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Ligeiro F.C defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamílton Chaves. The Ligeiro F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamílton Chaves should have stopped the shot. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Adelino Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Hamílton Chaves threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Zorita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Hamílton Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Caio Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamílton Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 73rd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Tasso in the 75th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Amorim. Ligeiro F.C's Sandro Paulista was substituted for Adelino Ramalho. 79 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Hamílton Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Sandro Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Tasso in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Chaves having to interfere. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ligeiro F.C from getting a goal against them. Ecuador played a much better game than Ligeiro F.C and deserved their victory. The Ligeiro F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
