Sebastian Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes in the game Beltrán De Filippo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nelson Hawley. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sebastian Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Peru's Sebastian Quirce threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 许明卫 to make the kick off. Sebastian Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 55th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Quirce was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
