Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Okan Golovichev started the match with the kick off. Marcus Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 11th minute of the match. Marcus Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Okan Golovichev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Mazza. Karapinar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 23rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okan Golovichev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Okan Golovichevs short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Rolando Noboa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Mazza saved Karapinar from getting behind. Karapinar's Thad Castle was substituted for Okan Golovichev. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Mazza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thad Castle in the 58th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcus Mazza, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thad Castle in the 74th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thad Castle, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play forced Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luz Tejedor came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Mazza could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Karapinar's Ronaldinho Antunes got a free kick in the 86th minute. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Marcus Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 91st minute. After 92 minutes Karapinar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rafael Gallo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Mazza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 92 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Marcus Mazza. Mikail Öztan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karapinar.
