The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aquiles Paro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Ciszewski in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aquiles Paro. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Ciszewski in the 13th minute of play. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafal Ciszewski went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Aquiles Paro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacey Walker hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Ciszewski came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW got a freekick which was hit by Kostadin Plachkov. In the 26th minute of the match Chile got a corner. ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's Aquiles Paro did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Ciszewski in the 29th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Ciszewski in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boruc Mlekodaj was slow to take the kick. During this time ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Boruc Mlekodaj almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Aquiles Paro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aquiles Paro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW got a freekick which was hit by Cacey Walker.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chile booed when ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Mlekodaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's Aquiles Paro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Rafal Ciszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Ciszewski in the 74th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Paro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Paro. The ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Paro should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Paro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's Rafal Ciszewski in the 87th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Thiago Pliego was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chile through an amazing save. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostadin Plachkov in the 93rd minute of play.
