After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Edmundo Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Borys Patora. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. After 14 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Borys Patora firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Mendes in the 18th minute of play. Borys Patora acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Los Playmobil FC's Borys Patora. Borys Patora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Patora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Edmundo Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Edmundo Mendes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Mendes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Mendes in the 76th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cipriano Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere.
