Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Efrain Cordearo made the kick off which started today's match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Cordearo in the 7th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Mele having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Acratas Unidos's Martin Mele. Martin Mele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Martin Mele. Martin Mele came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Acratas Unidos's Efrain Cordearo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Martin Mele made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Mele. 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Mele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Cordearo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Martin Mele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Obano to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Martin Mele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Mele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Mele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Mele was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Mele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Martin Mele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Acratas Unidos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Acratas Unidos's Martin Mele did a great save. In the 85th minute of the match, Pablo Filipo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Martin Mele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
