Håkan Kinnman had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mehmet Osman Şafakoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hatemi Şahinhan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Kinnman having to interfere. Darko Kovačević came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. DOLAPGÜCÜ's Altuğ Kamber was substituted for Darko Kovačević. The long shot by Mehmet Osman Şafakoğlu in the 81st minute really tested Marcos Cotilla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mehmet Osman Şafakoğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. The DOLAPGÜCÜ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
