Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Durval Aparecido showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Durval Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Durval Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Egon Isaksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 22nd play minute Durval Aparecido came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 3-0. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Aparecido went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, André Luís Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and André Luís Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luís Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Luís Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the game, Renan Soares threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Renan Soares in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ had won after a very even match.
