In the 8th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Burglin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Undertakers FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. 14 minutes into the game, Undertakers FC's Claes Pein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Calle Burglin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 21st minute. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teddy Lapp was the one to do the kick off. With 51 minutes on the clock, Juan Rubio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 51 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benito Sanz had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Wagn Hohlenberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Calle Burglin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 64 in the game by Teddy Lapp from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Undertakers FC's Wagn Hohlenberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Undertakers FC's goalkeeper Calle Burglin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claes Pein went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Undertakers FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
