In the 5th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Onofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Onofre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Joaquin Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fabricio Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama were furious when Felipe Ros was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 14th minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. Marcos Cotilla had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Joaquin Onofre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 16th minute, Joaquin Onofre made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Panama's goalie and right to Romeo Senen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Panama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Joaquin Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Pueblo in the 38th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Onofre in the 39th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Onofre to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Ramblones 91218 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Cannava to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Joaquin Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ramblones 91218's Ubaldo Pueblo. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Joaquin Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Pueblo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Ubaldo Pueblo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ramblones 91218's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Gau came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 97th minute of play forced Ramblones 91218's goalkeeper Fabricio Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ramblones 91218 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
