Frode Ophaug ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the match, Ramblones 91218's Joaquin Onofre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sebastian Villa fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Sebastian Villa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Ramblones 91218's Joaquin Onofre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Ramblones 91218 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Joaquin Onofre made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Pueblo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Joaquin Onofre made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 82nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Onofre in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Romeo Senen had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Sancho during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Onofre in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Ramblones 91218 were awarded a corner. Frode Ophaug went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Honduras's goalie and right to Ubaldo Pueblo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Honduras's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the final whistle sounded Ramblones 91218 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Honduras.
