Pinki Kush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ACe Aimaro Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Milagros Fraga scored to the left of an out of position Pinki Kush, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Dacio in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Czaplicki came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st minute of the match Peru got a corner. ACe Aimaro Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Pinki Kush made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ACe Aimaro Juniors's goalkeeper Pinki Kush, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, ACe Aimaro Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Oliszewski to maneuver through the defense. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lech Czaplicki scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ACe Aimaro Juniors's Pinki Kush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Dacio to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pinki Kush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pinki Kush read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. ACe Aimaro Juniors's Marco Verratti was substituted for Lech Czaplicki. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filip Scigan, made in the 94th minute of the game. The Peru manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ACe Aimaro Juniors to win.
