With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27thth minute of the game Wang Rong Jing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Batıhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Abidin Taşkın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Ravelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Wang Rong Jing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. After 81 minutes, Ali Atıf Bayezit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Atıf Bayezit hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Bülent İlkim in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
