A nice corner shot did that Lázaro Jatsu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacobo Nores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Kepa could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Jacobo Nores however easily saved by the left post. Geronimo Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Eleazar made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Geronimo Ioritz however managed to control. Francisco Kepa in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisco Kepa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Jacobo Nores skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Francisco Kepa managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Talar's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Kepa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Francisco Kepa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 2-0. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Francisco Kepa put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Geronimo Ioritz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Talar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Francisco Kepa made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, El Talar's Geronimo Ioritz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fulgencio Eleazar hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Geronimo Ioritz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Talar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Geronimo Ioritz came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the El Talar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Ioritz couldn't finish the play. Francisco Kepa charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Kepa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Alan Campos from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Urbano Oto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Urbano Oto in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Kepa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Ioritz in the 93rd minute of play. After 96 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázaro Jatsu who took care of the corner kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Talar.
