The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Marco Tamayo a yellow card for diving instead. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Max Voves quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee showed Mateo Leguizamo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SK Slavoj Vyšehrad booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Mikš having to interfere. Many of SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad may have spent more time on the ball, but El Salvador were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
