In the 2nd minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Sancho in the 9th minute of play forced Loud Academy FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Guimarães having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 27th minute of play forced Loud Academy FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Jefferson Saldanha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loud Academy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dagoberto Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adhemar Dantas was slow to take the kick. During this time Loud Academy FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Vitinho Hoffmann managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vitinho Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitinho Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Loud Academy FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Hoffmann. After some careless play in the Loud Academy FC defense, Luca Espinar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dagoberto Guimarães. The Loud Academy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dagoberto Guimarães should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Honduras's Moises Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When Honduras's Christian Sancho in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loud Academy FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dagoberto Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Clemente Lara came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Loud Academy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Lara couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Hoffmann in the 65th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loud Academy FC's Dagoberto Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edson Queiroz during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Guimarães having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Linares in the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dagoberto Guimarães. Sebastian Villa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Guimarães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 played minutes Moises Tafalla rounded Loud Academy FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. The Loud Academy FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
