Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Intimos de Reynoso from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidio Roland, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Rodrigo De Paul in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25th play minutes Julian Murillo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ovidio Roland and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31st minute Lope Quijana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erez Marica in the 34th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidio Roland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Ovidio Roland managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ovidio Roland to make any attempt to save it.

Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erez Marica in the 51st minute of the match. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Marcus Björkänge replaced Janpier Alvisto. Peru were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Intimos de Reynoso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner ended in Alonso Berganza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland did a great save. In the 65th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 71st minute. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes in the game Rodrigo De Paul did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Geraldo Güemes. After a rather tough play, Intimos de Reynoso's Rodrigo De Paul got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Intimos de Reynoso:s goal. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Rafael Gallo sped through Intimos de Reynoso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ovidio Roland. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meder Muños in the 91st minute of play. When Alonso Berganza fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Alonso Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. Meder Muños scored 3-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
