Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrzej Skwira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doru Gogu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aquiles Paro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Paro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafal Ciszewski in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 32 minutes, Kostadin Plachkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostadin Plachkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Paro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Ciszewski in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Rafal Ciszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 71st minute Doru Gogu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Skwira, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kostadin Plachkov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doru Gogu in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Kostadin Plachkov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the final whistle sounded ☆Górny Śląsk☆SW left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
