Boulogne del Ciclón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Boulogne del Ciclón's goalkeeper Daniel Moron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Mcdonald. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Monty Rogers put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Moron. Liu Zhen Ang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Quetara came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Moron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Bonifacio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boulogne del Ciclón's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Monte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Bonifacio Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boulogne del Ciclón's Daniel Moron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Koby Fletcher hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cassius Byrne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Moron. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Edward Mcdonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Diego Quetara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Daniel Moron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Moron saved Boulogne del Ciclón from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Monty Rogers made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Moron. Boulogne del Ciclón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Frans, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Moron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Rodolfo Frans took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Marco Day to make any attempt to save it. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. 75 minutes into the match, Boulogne del Ciclón's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Daniel Moron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Moron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Moron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 78th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Rodolfo Frans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boulogne del Ciclón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Quetara, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Moron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 97th minute of play forced Boulogne del Ciclón's goalkeeper Daniel Moron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Boulogne del Ciclón for a fine match.
