Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when César Xavier sent off a good shot on target. Üzeyir İzgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. Üzeyir İzgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Üzeyir İzgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. César Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Selman Uçkan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 24th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Üzeyir İzgi. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC! Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC made a substitution. Battal Gazi Saltuk replaced Selman Uçkan. Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC made a substitution. Ziya Sayhan replaced Türker Türkoğlu. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's goalkeeper Üzeyir İzgi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Üzeyir İzgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's goalkeeper Üzeyir İzgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ziya Sayhan in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ziya Sayhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ziya Sayhan went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute César Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ziya Sayhan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziya Sayhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziya Sayhan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 61st minute, Samim Acartürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Üzeyir İzgi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ziya Sayhan in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's Üzeyir İzgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Ziya Sayhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cai Shi Jian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Üzeyir İzgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute César Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Üzeyir İzgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziya Sayhan struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC. After 92 played minutes Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Odeen. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
