Juliusz Bury was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Walery Koczara charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Tomas Berganza took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Juliusz Bury to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa 【L】's goalkeeper Juliusz Bury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Juliusz Bury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juliusz Bury prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Florian Pryputnicki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 30 minute of the game. After 31 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. 34 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juliusz Bury. Abraham Alguacil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juliusz Bury. That made the score 6-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 47th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Bury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juliusz Bury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Bury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Juliusz Bury came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0.
