Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Gugu Silva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Capixaba. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Capixaba should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Guillermo Fontirroig sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Adriano Capixaba threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Guillermo Fontirroig this time. Mariano Lacasa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Adriano Capixaba 9 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Duda Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 22 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Adriano Capixaba managed to make a qualified save. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's players were relieved. In the 24th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Gugu Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Capixaba was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 34th match minute, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Brito to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Adriano Capixaba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adriano Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Adriano Capixaba had great luck who in the 42ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Mariano Lacasa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 43 minutes into the match Mariano Lacasa climbed in front of goal and pressed up 6-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Adriano Capixaba. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Capixaba. Adriano Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Capixaba. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 55th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano Capixaba having to make a save. Adriano Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of the match. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adriano Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Capixaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Capixaba having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 73 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Adriano Capixaba. Adriano Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adriano Capixaba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Capixaba was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Capixaba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Adriano Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Adriano Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Marquinhos Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Manzanedo in the 93rd minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Adriano Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Casaus struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Adriano Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Paulo Brito hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chile fully deserved thier win.
