Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Janusz Pusiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 2kC Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janusz Pusiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulryk Merski during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Merski to maneuver through the defense. After 6 minutes, Janusz Pusiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 2kC Poznań and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Janusz Pusiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tadeusz Rutkowski could save by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Tadeusz Rutkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Pusiak in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game Janusz Pusiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The 2kC Poznań fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Mexico booed when 2kC Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Rutkowski. Tadeusz Rutkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Pusiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Janusz Pusiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Rutkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 2kC Poznań's Zachary Plaski was substituted for Stanislaw Kisielka. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Zbigniew Zaworski replaced Marek Buczko. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Lucjan Sokol tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Hoffman to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tadeusz Rutkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Rutkowski having to interfere. In the 77th minute, 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 80th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. Janusz Pusiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Janusz Pusiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Macos Graciani made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Gaona. A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Czeslaw Hoffman hit a great ball. Czeslaw Hoffman kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Mexico manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing 2kC Poznań to win.
