DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After 4 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Doru Săvescu. When Mugur Ulici fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s protests and gave Mugur Ulici a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Ulici. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pompiliu Nisporeanu having to make a save. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Ciorănescu to maneuver through the defense. Pompiliu Nisporeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Roşu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Felix Udroiu in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Mugur Ulici got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Mugur Ulici off the ground. After a rather tough play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Mugur Ulici got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Albert Ciorănescu hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jovan Markovič to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Jaime Cazalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Pompiliu Nisporeanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Dan Aanuţei. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Pompiliu Nisporeanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pompiliu Nisporeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Doru Săvescu got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 55th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Pompiliu Nisporeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Pompiliu Nisporeanu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Jovan Markovič in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Camilo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pompiliu Nisporeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. Pompiliu Nisporeanu made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Pompiliu Nisporeanu was a little too slow when Maximiliano Escribano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-2. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Cangeopol in the 80th minute of the match. Pompiliu Nisporeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pompiliu Nisporeanu. Jovan Markovič made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dinu Roşu immediately put the ball in play. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- throughout the match.
