Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Union Lara FC's Lei Fei Song started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tome Usel. Union Lara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Union Lara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tome Usel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Txerran Velasco hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Lei Fei Song scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-1. In the 16th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tome Usel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veremundo Salz. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tome Usel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Union Lara FC's Txerran Velasco got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Tome Usel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. Union Lara FC's Tome Usel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Union Lara FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veremundo Salz in the 56th minute of the match. Tome Usel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute. After 79 played minutes Union Lara FC got a freekick which was hit by Txerran Velasco. In the 80th minute, Edilberto Lacalle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
