Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Haroldo Weather took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Weather in the 2nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. When Haroldo Weather came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pannekoeken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Weather couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Weather's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Haroldo Weather struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pannekoeken. Haroldo Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Wolicki. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Weather in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Haar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Elbert Haar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pannekoeken's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Juan Sebastián Puig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 43 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Wolicki. Pannekoeken were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Geraets took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pannekoeken's corner Fernando Geraets fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Haar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Weather in the 65th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through Pannekoeken's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elbert Haar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Weather in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Elbert Haar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Foyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernando Geraets kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Haroldo Weather was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pannekoeken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Pannekoeken defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elbert Haar. The Pannekoeken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elbert Haar should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Haroldo Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
