Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Mastache to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SPARROWS's zone, Kevin Mastache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitko Hadzhiiliev came out of the goal and Kevin Mastache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the match, SPARROWS's goalkeeper Vitko Hadzhiiliev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Mastache. André Saraiva hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. SPARROWS's Vitko Hadzhiiliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 100th minute of play. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
