Jose Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Maquina 9-12-18:s goal. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, La Maquina 9-12-18's Albert Gaardahl got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute of the match La Maquina 9-12-18 got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Baki Tecimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Alberto Tafalla, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jose Vimaro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 64th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Jose Vimaro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jose Vimaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gaardahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Shpëtim Kume hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Vimaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 91st minute of the match. Jose Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jose Vimaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing La Maquina 9-12-18 to leave the ground with a draw.
