Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Abelardo Monico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Teo Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teo Bernaldo quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Teo Bernaldo. Teo Bernaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Bernaldo. Teo Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 15th minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Teo Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo Bernaldo. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 21 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Teo Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Bernaldo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Teo Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Teo Bernaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Teo Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Antonio Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Angel Paulin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. The StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Vachon. Teo Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Teo Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 58th match minute, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Paulin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Teo Bernaldo. Teo Bernaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teo Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute. Teo Bernaldo was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Luis Andino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Andino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 86 minutes into the match, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Teo Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 87 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo Bernaldo. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10.
