Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aurelio Mederi got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes, Aurelio Mederi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 5 minutes, Aurelio Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dumitru Zdrăilă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Costin Giugiuc however easily saved by the left post. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.C. Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc did a great save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Mederi in the 20th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Mederi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Costică Chiriloaie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Chiriloaie in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Aurelio Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Dumitru Zdrăilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Aurelio Mederi scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 0-5. Horea Berca charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horea Berca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horea Berca hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Dumitru Zdrăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costin Giugiuc saved A.C. Milan from getting behind. When A.C. Milan's Aurelio Mederi in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Emil Gheară dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-6. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Costin Giugiuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Costin Giugiuc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Dumitru Zdrăilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aurelio Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Gheară blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Giugiuc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.C. Milan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
