Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Primatas FC. If Mai Bin Kuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Bin Kuan in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mai Bin Kuan got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Mai Bin Kuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Michel Čech to make any attempt to save it. Primatas FC made a substitution. Shao Zheng replaced Xandinho Foden. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michel Čech could save by the left post. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mai Bin Kuan sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. When Primatas FC's Jacobo Argi in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 82nd minute of play. If Jacobo Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Primatas FC:s goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play.
