Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Elia Mascitti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dennis Berardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Berardo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Berardo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goalkeeper Alberto Andreola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Andreola. Alberto Andreola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Cosimo Avesani made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game.

The throw-in from Cosimo Avesani in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Cosimo Avesani made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Elia Mascitti however managed to control. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alfonso Aloisi sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Andreola. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Andreola should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Cosimo Avesani in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. After 64 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Stefano. After having played for 65 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Andreola having to interfere. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Eraldo Ippoliti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Ippoliti charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eraldo Ippoliti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eraldo Ippoliti kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Andreola. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 89 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Andreola. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Alberto Andreola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Andreola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
