Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 4th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerjan Staarman took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 8th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frits van Loo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Frits van Loo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 36th playminute. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gertjan Baars, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Wissenkerke's Sylvan Baggio. But to his dismay, Sylvan Baggio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 46th minute, Gerjan Staarman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylvan Baggio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SV Wissenkerke's Sylvan Baggio got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Paul Schuiling was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gertjan Baars got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of SV Wissenkerke's Frits van Loo. Frits van Loo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frits van Loo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After 76 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frits van Loo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 81 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Sylvan Baggio. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Jean-Paul Schuiling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frits van Loo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Cambeiro went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the game, Aaron Barrios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Wissenkerke the free kick. After 91 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. 92 minutes into the game, SV Wissenkerke's Gerjan Staarman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
