Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Deilmison van Basten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Denílson Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deilmison van Basten went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Deilmison van Basten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 16 minutes into the match, Deilmison van Basten notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Deilmison van Basten came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the ATHLETICO PRaiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deilmison van Basten couldn't finish the play. Deilmison van Basten took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 32 minutes into the match, Deilmison van Basten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deilmison van Basten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Deilmison van Basten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Deilmison van Basten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deilmison van Basten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Unax Mudarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATHLETICO PRaiano were winning 0-9.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Deilmison van Basten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 55th minute of the match. When Deilmison van Basten came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the ATHLETICO PRaiano fans jumped to their feet. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Efrain Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. ATHLETICO PRaiano's attentive Vilhelm Skoog managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deilmison van Basten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 86 minute of play. In the 89th play minute Deilmison van Basten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 0-16. In the 92nd minute, Deilmison van Basten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 0-17. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Deilmison van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line.
