Costică Peter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Messi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Costică Peter in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Costică Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. Ailton Da Silva made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Messi got free with Rolando Noboa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 37 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Costică Peter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Costică Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Peter saved EFSANE SİVASSPOR from getting behind. Costică Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 68th minute of the match. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Peter having to interfere. Ronaldo Messi might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Messi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute Ronaldo Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Costică Peter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save EFSANE SİVASSPOR from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Costică Peter firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Sergen Volkan was substituted for Jurand Wolniewicz. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vygandas Jančiauskas in the 89th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Edinho Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Cankut Arslan got a free kick in the 95th minute.
