Blue Rock F.C.'s Josh Kemp got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Panama's Richard Silver threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute, Blue Rock F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, Panama's Richard Silver threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fletcher Pritchett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 39 in the game by Abraham Alguacil from a close distance when the talented Richard Silver managed to make a qualified save. Blue Rock F.C.'s players were relieved. A collision led to Blue Rock F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Clint Crabtree hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Blue Rock F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Baker to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Blue Rock F.C. booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Fletcher Pritchett made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Blue Rock F.C.'s Damian Stroud got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Silver having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Cambeiro in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Silver saved Blue Rock F.C. from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 77th minute. Fletcher Pritchett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. The supporters of Blue Rock F.C. booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fletcher Pritchett got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 86th minute of the match Alex Cambeiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alex Cambeiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
