Jesus Molina's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Molina helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mitch Dunn was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Phyperstars FC defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allen Goss. The Phyperstars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allen Goss should have stopped the shot. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron McElroy in the 55th minute of play. During the 56th minute of the match Jesus Molina completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jesus Molina a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Phyperstars FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jesus Molina hit a great ball. Jerrod Castillo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phyperstars FC. Allen Goss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Allen Goss having to make a save. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Jerrod Castillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Tracy Landry:s penalty. Allen Goss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! In the 82nd minute, Tracy Landry made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Allen Goss came out of the goal and Christian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Phyperstars FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
