An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of play forced Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Svante Julin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Arab. In the 86th minute, Martin Arab left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Robíño Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 89 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fang Ting Yan during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Fang Ting Yan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
