Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Wei Liang Qian came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Diego Eterno's Joel Macias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Fulanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Diego Eterno booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Espinar in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Santikurtz saved Diego Eterno from getting behind. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bello Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The supporters of Diego Eterno booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Joel Macias made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Macias in the 50th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Macias in the 52nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Modesto Santikurtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 63rd minute, Cosme Fulanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Armando Lio in the 67 minute of the game. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Kiliz in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Diego Eterno's Adan Piarres got a free kick in the 76th minute. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cosme Fulanito kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Jairo Kiliz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Diego Eterno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Kiliz couldn't finish the play.
