Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Evtim Chokoev kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Progreso Tres's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Eugenio Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes Progreso Tres's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Nevada having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Progreso Tres's Nemesio Fidele. But to his dismay, Nemesio Fidele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eugenio Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Estavan in the 18th minute of play. Eugenio Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Saelices in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Nemesio Fidele who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Progreso Tres's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Eugenio Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Progreso Tres booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 44th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Fidele was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Progreso Tres's Eugenio Nevada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Progreso Tres from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play forced Progreso Tres's goalkeeper Eugenio Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Nevada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 70th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Nevada came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 76th minute. Eugenio Nevada was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-2. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Fidele came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
