Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazuste Flores in the 4th minute of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colon Manrique made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Melquiades Lizar sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Lizar in the 14th minute. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Colon Manrique having to make a save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, F.C. Sant Sabo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Colon Manrique reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Colon Manrique tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazuste Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colon Manrique stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Colon Manrique took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sant Sabo's Victoriano Urtzi got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Lizar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mazuste Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Sant Sabo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazuste Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazuste Flores in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when F.C. Sant Sabo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Dagora didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sant Sabo's Apolo Edur got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. F.C. Sant Sabo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sant Sabo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Colon Manrique reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, F.C. Sant Sabo's Roberto Mata made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! F.C. Sant Sabo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
