Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Aurelio Lehen made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Valentino Ricci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Lehen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that FUF F.C's Aurelio Lehen managed to reach the ball for a save. Atabek Ula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Peru booed when FUF F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cao Yao Shi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Lehen. FUF F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 37thth minute of the game Sergio Bihar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Valentino Ricci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Aurelio Lehen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luz Tejedor's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Aurelio Lehen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Valentino Ricci's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. FUF F.C's Momo Sampler was substituted for Sergio Bihar. FUF F.C's Maciej Jus was substituted for Valentino Ricci. The FUF F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Lehen should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Lehen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Peru made a substitution. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peru had won after a very even match.
