Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Universitario Pincharrata's Benito Ariando shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 41st minute, Niceto Baumer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Ariando made a kick off. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Frederik was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Universitario Pincharrata's Javier Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Universitario Pincharrata's Benito Ariando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Benito Ariando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Universitario Pincharrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Namık Kemal Baytüze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Frederik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Fedot Khokhlov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Ariando in the 86th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Ariando got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. When Universitario Pincharrata's Benito Ariando in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Universitario Pincharrata were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
